Cave Light A light follows your cursor through the dark, the way it does on the Plato file. Butterflies Butterflies rise up across the desktop, like the ones in Zhuangzi's dream. Superposition Every file and folder grows a blurred double, until you can't tell which one is real. Quantum Everything degrades into something coarser and more pixelated. Relativity Space bends wherever the cursor goes, easing off gradually, the way it does on the Relativity file.

He built this archive after he found proof that what Plato's cave, Descartes' demon, and Zhuangzi's dream were only ever gesturing at — that this reality is built on top of another one — was literally true. Rather than keep living on the other side of the screen, he uploaded what he could of himself into it, and stayed.

He is still in here, somewhere between the files. Archivist Access is the only door that leads to him.

Nobody has found out how to unlock it yet.
